Measuring Success

We at BPI Media Group have a philosophy: We measure our success by the success of our customers. They not only make us as a company successful, but our customers were the key in having a successful open house last week in Boaz. Thank you to all of you who visited us, took plant tours, talked with our team and learned a bit more about our capabilities. Your presence there made the day so much fun and hopefully provided more opportunities for us to be successful together.

Enjoy a few photos that our very own prepress tech, Russ, took for us throughout the day. If you'd like to request a link to view the full photo gallery of our event, drop me a note, and I'll be happy to share with you. The wall, door and floor graphics shown are just a few examples of some of our new capabilities.

Busy Times

My apologies for being out of touch on the blog lately, and while there's no real excuse, I do have a few good reasons being being too busy to blog.

1) Recent travels to BPI Media Group in Boaz, AL. With two trips to BPI in the past month, that has keep the wheels on the car going round and round and this print girl on the road (which is a great thing!). The first trip to BPI was for a customer press check for a catalog printing. This valued customer spent 2.5 days with us at BPI. We truly have an open door policy and welcome prospects and customers to do plant tours or press checks any time. The second trip to BPI was last week for our sales team meeting. It always does a salesperson good to have a fire ignited and learn of new things coming (stay tuned for more on that in a week or so).

2) Prospecting and recruiting committee members for a chapter of AMA that I'm working to develop in Upstate has also keep my hands from being anything but idle. Reaching out to friends and colleagues in the marketing arena for help in starting the AMA chapter has proven to be a great opportunity, and I am truly excited about the next few months as our chapter takes shape. Details to come on this as well, so keep reading!

3) A project very dear to my heart, Parkinson's Walk Greenville, was held on Sunday, October 20th. The planning and time spent to help make this first annual event happen was immense and done with such great care, but I have learned invaluable lessons about being a leader, working with non-profit organizations and helping others. I have much to learn in this area, but I will take this experience and what I learned and use it in planning the 2nd Parkinson's Walk Greenville in October of 2014. Here are a couple of photos from the event (and BPI was kind enough to help with the brochures, flyers and banners), so I hope you'll enjoy.

Until next time...Elizabeth

Open Door Policy

I was reminded today why we shouldn't burn bridges and that leaving the door open can be the best policy. A customer who had worked with BPI Media Group for several years on the printing and mailing called today out of the blue. Does that happen often? No, but because of the strength and longevity of our working relationship, this customer knew they could dial me up, and we would be glad to help on a new project.

Whether you're a long-time, loyal customer to BPI or a prospect who's reluctant to check us out, we literally do have an open door policy. We want you to come check us out. We invite you to tour our plant, see our production work flow and meet the folks who will make your project go from inception and design to ink on paper or in mailboxes.

BPI loves visitors! We'd love to have you press check your next project, so we can show you the steps it takes from proof to press. We invite you to plan to visit us soon to learn more about ways we can help you with everything from simply printing a postcard to managing fulfillment through our web-to-print storefront system. You won't be disappointed, and the folks you meet at BPI who work hard for you would be thrilled to see you too!

Until next time...Elizabeth

Thankfulness

The turkey is in the roasting pan, the sweet potato casserole is in the oven, and the pecan pies are cooling. What are your family's or company's Thanksgiving traditions? At BPI Media Group, we are "a family" as well, and we want to extend our thankfulness to those who work with us. Not only are we grateful to handle your print projects, mailings, fulfillment, websites, storefronts, and design, but we are most grateful to have the opportunity to develop relationships with each of our customers. Those relationships are what make us your partner. For the opportunities you've given us and the trust you place in BPI's team, we say "thank you!"

Happy Thanksgiving!

Until next time...Elizabeth
